About the UK Hoarding Partnership
A multi-agency, multidisciplinary network improving understanding and outcomes for people affected by hoarding disorder across the UK.
How we came to be
The UK Hoarding Partnership was formed in January 2024, evolving from the North East Hoarding Partnership established in 2017. It developed in response to growing demand from professionals across the UK who recognised the need for a national, coordinated approach to hoarding disorder.
We bring together professionals, academics, and people with lived experience from local authorities, housing associations, emergency services, NHS, charities, and universities from across the country.
We work in coordination with the UK Hoarding Research Network (UKHRN) hosted at Anglia Ruskin University and chaired by Professor Sharon Morein.
North East Hoarding Partnership established by Prof Nick Neave at Northumbria University.
Growing national interest prompts plans to expand the partnership UK-wide.
UK Hoarding Partnership officially formed, bringing together professionals and academics from across the country.
UKHP open letter to MPs contributes to the first-ever parliamentary debate on hoarding disorder on the floor of the House of Commons.
